Saudi Students Win Grand Prizes and Gold Medals at Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2026

Students from the Kingdom achieved a distinguished international accomplishment at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2026, competing in the Young Talent track for general education projects (under 18 years old).

 Student Al-Jawhara Saud Al-Qahtani won the Grand Prize (Inventors of Tomorrow and Young Talents 2026) for her innovation, an AI-based platform designed to support clinical decision-making and gene editing for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. She was also awarded the gold medal with honors.

 The Kingdom participated in the exhibition with 135 scientific inventions, including 10 from general education students, 10 from teachers, 111 from public and private universities and colleges, and 4 from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.

 A total of 73 students from general, university, and technical education tracks, alongside 99 faculty members, competed in the exhibition.
