GASTAT Launches Accurate Data Service for Clients

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) has launched a new service to provide accurate statistical data and information through its Micro Data Center. This initiative aims to empower decision-makers, policymakers in government and private sectors, academics, and those interested in statistical matters to utilize data for analysis, data modeling, identifying opportunities, and addressing future challenges in economic and social activities. It also supports the objectives of comprehensive and sustainable development.
GASTAT noted that the Micro Data Center will deliver its data in a new way, offering access to various types of data—structured, semi-structured, and unstructured—across multiple fields. The center will facilitate data analysis using both descriptive and predictive methods. This effort would boost GASTAT's role as a provider of official statistics and supply researchers with high-quality, precise data. It also addresses the increasing demand for data and supports the development of strategies, plans, performance programs, and indicators through an integrated framework with all relevant government entities, to provide accurate data to measure various aspects, contributing to the achievement of the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.
All information and data provided by the Micro Data Center to public and private sectors, individuals, and international organizations are kept strictly confidential, ensuring protection and usage solely for statistical purposes. Access to the center's services can be requested via the link https://www.stats.gov.sa/micro-data, by contacting the Statistical Information Center at the unified number (199009), or by emailing customer support at cs@stats.gov.sa.
