UN Internet Governance Forum in Riyadh Confirmed the Largest Edition
The 19th United Nations Internet Governance Forum (IGF), which concluded yesterday in Riyadh, had the largest confirmed attendance in the forum's history, surpassing 11,000 in-person participants.
The forum featured the participation of experts and specialists from 170 countries, over 1,000 international speakers, and more than 300 sessions and workshops, making it a landmark event in the era of artificial intelligence (AI).
The IGF brought together digital transformation experts from around the world. A key highlight of the forum was the launch of the Riyadh Declaration, a roadmap aimed at fostering international partnerships and unifying efforts to harness digital technologies and AI for the benefit of humanity. The declaration reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to supporting sustainable development both regionally and globally.
