NCVC to Plant 1,000 Mangroves in Jeddah as Part of World Wetlands Day Initiative

The National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) launched mangrove cultivation campaigns across the Kingdom from February 2-3, coinciding with World Wetlands Day.
 The campaigns, which will take place in various regions, including Jazan, the Eastern Region, Madinah, Makkah, and Aseer, involve voluntary planting activities in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and other environmental organizations.
 In Makkah region, NCVC aims to plant 1,000 mangrove seedlings on Jeddah's beaches to support biodiversity and sustainable natural resource management.
