Prince Hussam Park’s Glass Bridge Emerges as Al-Baha’s Top Summer Attraction
Visitors to Al-Baha Region are turning their attention this summer to the terraces of Prince Hussam Park, one of the region’s most prominent open-air tourist destinations, thanks to its strategic location overlooking Al-Baha city and the Tihama sector, offering panoramic views of mountains, valleys, and clouds embracing the highlands.
The suspended glass bridge stands out as one of the park’s most attractive features. Built of solid steel and transparent glass panels, it spans 85 meters and rises more than 40 meters above the ground, offering visitors the experience of walking across the glass while viewing the dense vegetation, mountain slopes, and the famous Al-Baha Pass below.
The park’s appeal extends beyond its natural elements to its role as a hub for summer events and activities that attract families and children. It hosts entertainment and artistic shows, interactive programs, and competitions, alongside dedicated corners for productive families to showcase their products.
The park features a central plaza with an interactive fountain covering an area of 5,000 square meters, an open-air theater seating 1,000 people, restrooms, buffets, shops, service kiosks, a mosque, and dedicated children's play areas.
