CRIK Holds Roundtable to Enhance Cooperation with China-Arab Center
The Center for Research and Intercommunication Knowledge (CRIK) has held a roundtable with the China-Arab Reform and Development Institute of Beijing International Studies University (BISU), aiming to enhance prospects for cooperation between the two sides in the fields of scientific and cultural exchange, capacity building, fostering mutual understanding between the two peoples, and boosting friendship ties between academic institutions in both countries.
The roundtable included conducting joint research on topics related to the cultural and tourism sectors in Saudi Arabia and China, organizing joint seminars, lectures, and academic forums, and providing intellectual support for cultural and tourism cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides signed a cooperation document to promote exchange, including translation and global publication of academic journals, enabling the academic community in the Kingdom to gain insight into the development of Arab studies in China, and establishing an annual action plan outlining detailed content.
The China-Arab Center for Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Studies at BISU was established in August 2023, under the joint sponsorship of China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Beijing Municipal Government, to enhance cultural and tourism exchange and cooperation between China and Arab countries.
