The 17th Buraidah Kleija Festival Achieves High Public Attendance
The 17th Buraidah Kleija Festival, organized by the Qassim Chamber of Commerce at the King Khalid Cultural Center in Buraidah, witnessed a large and impressive turnout of visitors, reaffirming its status as one of the most prominent heritage, tourism, and economic events in the region.
The festival is part of the Qassim Chamber of Commerce's efforts to support national products, empower productive families and entrepreneurs, and promote the region's cultural identity. A number of productive families and artisans participated, offering various types and flavors of Kleija, along with traditional dishes and handicrafts.
The festival included a range of accompanying activities, such as live demonstrations of Kleija preparation, processing, and presentation, as well as cultural and heritage programs and entertainment activities for families and children. These activities contributed to attracting diverse segments of society and enriching the visitor experience.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Qassim Chamber of Commerce and Industry and General Supervisor of the Festival, Mr. Mohammed Al-Hanaya, affirmed that the Buraidah Kleija Festival is an important economic and heritage platform for supporting productive families and marketing their products. He noted that the large turnout of visitors reflects the festival's success in achieving its goals and strengthening its position as a prominent annual event in the region.
Al-Hanaya explained that the Qassim Chamber of Commerce and Industry, through organizing the festival, is keen to contribute to stimulating economic activity, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and transforming popular heritage into a sustainable economic value. This aligns with the aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Qassim Region and the originator of the festival, and is consistent with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He emphasized that the current edition has witnessed improvements in the level of organization and a diversification of the activities offered to visitors.
The Buraidah Kleija Festival continues to welcome visitors until January 17th, amidst comprehensive organization and increasing attendance, confirming its role in preserving popular heritage and enhancing the Qassim region's status as a destination for heritage and tourism events.
