KSrelief-Supported Prosthetics Center in Aden Provides Services to Beneficiaries
The prosthetics and rehabilitation center operation project in Aden Governorate, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), provided medical services during April 2026 to 659 beneficiaries who lost their limbs.
Throughout the month, a total of 1,945 services were delivered. Male beneficiaries accounted for 66% of the patients and females 34%, while displaced persons represented 56% and local residents 44%. These essential services included the manufacturing, fitting, and rehabilitation of prosthetic limbs, in addition to physical therapy and specialized consultations.
This initiative is an extension of the humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to enhance the capabilities of the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
