Generous Support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince for the "Jood Regions 2" Campaign

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister—may God grant them victory and protection—continue to contribute to solving the housing issue in the Kingdom in general. They support any initiatives and programs aimed at addressing and resolving the housing file comprehensively. Recently, in line with their ongoing generous support, they donated two generous contributions amounting to 150 million riyals to the "Jood Regions 2" campaign. This is a clear and evident affirmation of the wise leadership's support and their attention to the details of the Saudi family, among whose top priorities is providing suitable and dignified housing.

The "Jood Regions" campaign works to provide housing solutions for the most needy families, offering its services and the contributions it receives to the most deserving beneficiaries in partnership with numerous governmental and private institutions across all regions of the Kingdom. It represents a rapid and impactful complement to housing initiatives and all efforts of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and its partners. The "Jood Regions" platform supports the most needy families without requiring them to wait for their turn or meet all the conditions for other support entitlements.

The support of our leaders is continuous and extensive. Housing programs, in general, receive a significant share of their support, especially the "Jood Regions" campaign in its second phase. This noble and generous support coincides with the arrival of the blessed month of goodness, blessings, and giving—the holy month of Ramadan—where giving is for the sake of God Almighty, and every reward and blessing is multiplied. We have grown accustomed to this from our leaders as they continue their approach of supporting comprehensive development and initiatives that serve the nation and its citizens.

His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the "Sakan" Developmental Housing Foundation, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, praised this support from our wise leadership. His Excellency emphasized that this support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince, especially at this time, significantly and powerfully contributes to accelerating the fruits of the "Jood Regions" initiative and achieving its goals. He noted that the Quality of Life Program is the overarching umbrella that includes all initiatives, programs, and strategic plans. The Quality of Life is one of the most important programs of Saudi Vision 2030, and its name is clear: the Saudi citizen, individually, as a family, and as a community, must enjoy a dignified and high-quality life in housing, education, health, and the realization of aspirations.

It is important to highlight a very significant fact: since its launch, the "Sakan" Foundation, through its housing platform, has worked to provide more than 41,500 housing units to eligible families. The distribution criteria are strict and ensure fairness. Programs and initiatives like "Jood Regions" enhance the journey of housing support and the achievement of its goals. The support of our leaders is built on sound methodological foundations that consider the nature of the needs of eligible Saudi families. Even if some Saudi families do not meet the established criteria, the generosity of our wise leadership does not forget them and contributes to their support. This is what we always emphasize: the necessity of adhering to regulations, legislation, principles, and standards, both textually and fundamentally, because the ultimate goal is the Saudi family, first and foremost.

Undoubtedly, in the field of housing in the Kingdom, we need more awareness campaigns. Indeed, since the launch of our blessed Vision, we have begun to witness a positive change among our Saudi youth, who have become more inclined towards practicality in all aspects of their lives.
