RCRC Launches Field Data Collection for Riyadh Household Demographic Survey

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has launched the field data-collection phase of the Riyadh Household Demographic Survey, which runs from March 30 to May 10, 2026. The survey aims to update urban databases and improve population indicators to support city planning and development.
Covering more than 217 neighborhoods within Riyadh's development boundaries, the survey monitors demographic, social, educational, and economic aspects of the population, as well as housing conditions, mobility patterns, and quality-of-life indicators. Data is collected through personal interviews using a digital system, based on a scientifically representative sample rather than visits to all households.
The commission emphasized that all collected data is used strictly for statistical and planning purposes, with full privacy protection and information confidentiality guaranteed.
Residents in targeted neighborhoods are encouraged to cooperate, as accurate responses directly support service development and quality-of-life improvements across the city.
