Nestled in Najran, the village of Al-Qabil is a living testament to the region's vibrant history and cultural legacy, with its towering ancient palms, traditional mud houses, and ancient wells that once sustained its residents, embodying a sense of deep-rooted authenticity.
Stretching from Al-Hussein farms in the east to Al-Jarbah village in the west, and bordered by the Historical City of Al-Okhdood to the south and Wadi Najran to the north, Al-Qabil exudes both historical significance and genuine allure.
According to Mohammed Al Hetailah, head of the Najran Society for History and Archaeology, the village's history spans centuries, with mud palaces dating back over 350 years. With more than 200 mud houses of varying heights and designs, these structures reflect different periods and showcase Najran's rich architectural heritage.
