The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Camel Festival to be Held in February 2024
The Saudi Camel Sports announced today that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Camel Festival, in its first edition, will be held in February 2024 in Riyadh.
A considerable number of camel owners from all over the world will participate in the festival, which will have a total prize pool of over SAR70 million. On this occasion, Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal said that the approval of holding the festival by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques reflects the unlimited support that the sports sector enjoys from the leadership of this country in light of the comprehensive sports renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Camel Sports Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for approving the festival, adding that the support provided by the Saudi leadership to camel racing has played a key role in this sport being recognized as an international sport.
